Taking IFUW into the Future – Proposal One

Proposal One from the Board, and specifically from Catherine Bell, Patricia Galeana, Anne Nègre and Jennifer Strauss, is to retain the office in Geneva and strengthen and build it into a strong foundation for IFUW that delivers programme, streamlines governance, increases visibility and grows membership.  The documentation accompanying this circular is the documentation to support this proposal, and includes:

• 2013 04 IFUW Action Plan (work in progress) 2013-2016 that describes the actions that will be taken to achieve the objectives stated above

• Constitutional Amendments SET 1 that are required to move the organisation forward and allow the plan to be implemented

•  Functional Triennial Plan 2014-2016 that is the estimates agreed by the finance committee to put the IFUW Action Plan into action

•  Also included is an Emergency Resolution to allow the debate on Proposals One and Two and their accompanying sets of Constitutional Amendments.

We invite comments on the accompanying documents including the proposed constitutional amendments.
