Taking IFUW into the Future – Proposal One

Proposal One from the Board, and specifically from Catherine Bell, Patricia Galeana, Anne Nègre and Jennifer Strauss, is to retain the office in Geneva and strengthen and build it into a strong foundation for IFUW that delivers programme, streamlines governance, increases visibility and grows membership.  The documentation accompanying this circular is the documentation to support this proposal, and includes:

  •  Also included is an Emergency Resolution to allow the debate on Proposals One and Two and their accompanying sets of Constitutional Amendments.

We invite comments on the accompanying documents including the proposed constitutional amendments.

Dear NFA and IFUW Leaders,
 
Click here for Circular 3/2013: SECOND CALL for Nominations for to fill vacancies in specified Positions on the IFUW Board and Committees 2nd Call for   Selected Nominations.
 
Further to Circular 12/2012, and as a result of the lack of nominations received for the position of IFUW Treasurer, and the shortfall in nominations received for the Committee for the Award of International Fellowships, the Membership Committee and the Resolutions Committee, the IFUW Board of Officers, invites national federations and associations (NFAs) to nominate qualified, experienced candidates for the following vacant positions.
NB: An NFA that has already made a nomination in any of these categories may not make a further nomination in that category.
Nominations already made cannot be withdrawn from one position and moved to another position
