During day 8 of CSW57 the UK delegation focused intensely on formal negotiations.

In the morning there was the typically EU coordination meeting which all members of the UK delegation attended. The formal negotiations began at 11am and closed for lunch at 2.30pm. The negotiations reconvened at 4pm and went on until the early hours of the morning.

Charles and Sally attended the NGO briefing session organised by UN Women. Charles sat on the panel and spoke on behalf of the UK. Immediately after Charles and Sally briefed the UK NGOs with the latest developments over the past day.
