Eligibility
Members have degrees, diplomas, licences or other equivalent professional qualifications. We offer independent membership and we have local associations throughout Britain.
There is strong international interest and we are members of (Graduate Women International) and UWE . (University Women of Europe).
Graduates working together can bring about change.

BFWG has been supporting the development of women's education for more than hundred years.
This has been achieved through commitment and the determination of members to contribute significantly to helping women to realize their potential in difficult circumstances.
Every member, whether independent or joining a local association is entitled to participate in any or all of the events and opportunities that BFWG has to offer.
We offer
- national and international gatherings with other graduates where there is opportunity to develop and influence effective action to make a difference in creating a better life for women and girls, including lobbying government
- opportunities to form friendships, keep up to date and build confidence with monthly meet- ups with like -minded women from all disciplines plus book clubs, outings, theatre visits, an annual seminar at The House of Lords
- initiatives encouraging younger women to complete their training by awarding grants, bursaries and prizes
- the opportunity to become aware current research from graduates in all disciplines through presentations and seminars
