Research Presentation Day

The Research Presentation Day is when BFWG invites doctoral students to present their research to a general audience.

We were pleased to be able to hold the 2023 event in person.

The 2024 awards process will be open in early January 2024.

Research Presentation Day 2023

The Research Presentations Day award for 2023 was won by Anitta Rose Chacko, studying at University College London, for her work on ‘Picking the brain apart to gain insight into primary mitochondrial disorders’.

Are you a postgraduate woman student? Do you have research you would like to present to a discerning audience – and have the chance of winning a small prize of £120 for the best presentation to a general audience? Or would you like to join with us just to listen to other postgraduate women students presenting their research? The Research Presentations Day (RPD) offers these opportunities.

Past attendees, both presenters and audience, have found the Day thoroughly enjoyable and helpful in developing presentation skills.
