The Women Graduates Swansea University Society, in affiliation with the British Federation of Women Graduates, seeks to help female students in higher education to progress in academia and achieve successful university posts. The society works to bring together university women throughout Wales and the United Kingdom to showcase their research and academic achievements. The WGSUS aims to create networking environments such as public talks and a conference in May for female post graduate students to present their research. Additionally, the members hold monthly meetings to discuss the society’s progress and coordinate social events around Swansea.
