Throughout the world, a significant underrepresentation of women in sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) has been observed for years. Evidence today shows that only one in three scientists is a woman!<\/strong><\/p>\n

UNESCO and Gender Scan are committed to\u00a0promoting opportunities for women and girls pursuing scientific and technological studies and careers\u00a0<\/strong>through a new survey aimed at identifying structural inequalities and societal norms limiting their full participation in these fields. <\/p>\n

Our organization is a partner of Gender Scan, a survey that has been investigating levers to enable gender balance in science and new technologies for sixteen years.<\/p>\n

The survey results will be analyzed to inform discussions and policy directions at the G20 Summit in November 2024.<\/p>\n

The \u201cemployee\u201d part of the survey mainly focuses on the perception of gender equality within the organization, work organization, career management, parental support, and sexist prejudices.<\/p>\n

You can act and make a difference by spending 15 to 20 minutes to respond to a survey.<\/strong> Women, men, non-binary, in tech, STEM or any other sector, everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n

We kindly ask you to disseminate this message to organizations that could relay this survey among male and female employees in the scientific or technical sectors, both public and private<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
